Orientální ústav AV ČR Úřední hodiny: Pod vodárenskou věží 4 Út 9-12, 14-16 182 08 Praha 8 Čt 9-12, 14-16 Tel: 02-6605-2537 Úřední hodiny: Út 9-12, 14-16, Čt 9-12, 14-16 Korejská knihovna OÚ AV ČR byla založena roku 1958. V tomto roce Orientální ústav obdržel darem několik set knih a periodik od Akademie věd Korejské lidově demokratické republiky. Většina těchto knih byla vydána v padesátých letech, zvláště po korejské válce. Podobné exempláře se nacházejí i v dalších postkomunistických zemích Evropy, které svého času také udržovaly vztahy pouze se Severní Koreou. Korejská knihovna OÚ AV ČR byla v době svého založení místem s největším počtem korejských knih v tehdejším Československu. Tyto knihy sloužily především potřebám koreanistů působících v OÚ a studentům koreanistiky na FF UK. Navíc knihovny využívala řada severokorejských studentů, kteří, jak to bylo v padesátých letech běžné, studovali na nejrůznějších českých školách a půjčovali si korejskou literaturu, překlady klasické ruské literatury a jiných světoznámých děl. Většinu dalších přírůstků získala pak korejská knihovna výměnou s Akademií věd KLDR nebo jako dar, avšak mnohdy v duplikátech či dokonce v multiplikátech, které pak byly často vyměňovány s koreanistickými institucemi západní Evropy za monografie publikované v Korejské republice. Některé knihy byly také koupeny. Většina severokorejských publikací, tištěných v důsledku materiálního nedostatku po korejské válce na nepříliš kvalitním papíru, má pouze dokumentární hodnotu, avšak lze najít i několik výjimek, které oceňují i koreanisté západní Evropy především pro velké množství materiálu použitého při jejich sepsání či pro jejich unikátní charakter. Patří mezi ně například od Kim Il-čchula Čoson minsok tchalnori jongu (Studie o korejských maskách, 1958), Čosondži, korejský překlad ruského pojednání Opisanije Korei z roku 1900, či učebnice literatury od An Ham-gwanga, která dokumentuje změnu v hodnocení literatury, jež se udála v Severní Koreji od padesátých let. Periodika vydávaná v KLDR, včetně těch, která již zanikla, sloužila v době, kdy čeští koreanisté měli přístup pouze k severokorejským pramenům, jako cenný zdroj informací. Za zmínku stojí fakt, že korejská knihovna OÚ AV ČR jako jedna z mála v celé Evropě vlastní téměř všechny výtisky deníku Nodong sinmum (Noviny práce) od roku 1960 do roku 1984. První jihokorejské knihy se do korejské knihovny dostaly na počátku šedesátých let přes Základní knihovnu AV ČR již zmíněnými výměnami. V sedmdesátých letech se počet knih jihokorejské provenience zvýšil pomocí darů různých jihokorejských nadací, které je zasílaly i přes nepříznivou politickou situaci a neexistenci diplomatických vztahů mezi Československem a Korejskou republikou. Díky štědrosti těchto nadací vlastnila korejská knihovna OÚ alespoň několik hlavních jihokorejských publikací z oblasti literatury a humanitních věd, i když se jejich počet nemohl rovnat knihovnám v západní Evropě. V poslední době se korejská knihovna rozrostla o dva dary od jihokorejských nadací, které přijala prostřednictvím korejského velvyslanectví v Praze. Na podzim 1997 obdržel OÚ AV ČR 140 titulů jako dar nadace Korea Foundation a téhož roku v prosinci ředitel ústavu Doc. PhDr. Josef Kolmaš, DrSc. a zástupce vedoucího ústavu Dálného východu na Filozofické fakultě UK Doc.PhDr. Vladimír Pucek, CSc. převzali z rukou korejského velvyslance, působícího v České republice, další knižní dar, který čítal 883 svazků. Tyto knihy zaslala ústavu televizní a rozhlasová stanice MBC v Soulu. Najdeme mezi nimi dvě více než třicetisvazkové encyklopedie, řadu výkladových i jazykových slovníků, odborné publikace týkající se korejské historie, literatury, ekonomie či přírodních věd. Mimo tyto nedocenitelné přírůstky tvoří značnou část daru také beletrie, dětské encyklopedie a knihy pro děti. I ty je možno efektivně využít jako pomůcek pro studium posluchačů FF UK oboru koreanistika. Korejská knihovna byla s odchodem své poslední správkyně, koreanistky PhDr. Miriam Löwensteinové (první pracovnicí korejské knihovny byla PhDr. Zdeňka Klöslová, která zde začala pracovat po ukončení svých studií na FFUK obor korejský jazyk a historie Dálného východu v roce 1958), v roce 1993 uzavřena. Na podzim roku 1997 byla do korejské knihovny přijata na částečný úvazek PhDr. Zdeňka Klöslová a od ledna 1998 na celý úvazek Mgr. Štěpánka Horáková. Tyto dvě pracovnice se podílely na vybudování nové knihovny, která byla oficiálně otevřena v květnu 1999. Korejské knihy tak byly přestěhovány do nové místnosti, kterou Orientální ústav získal od Ústavu teorie informace a automatizace (ÚTIA). Korejská knihovna obsahuje v současné době více než 3 500 knih v
korejštině, avšak toto číslo je pohyblivé, protože jsou postupně
vyřazovány zastaralé knihy a řada severokorejských multiplikátů.
Jelikož se podařilo navázat dobré vztahy Orientálního ústavu AV ČR s
Korejským velvyslanectvím v Praze, je naděje, že korejská knihovna se
bude nadále rozrůstat. |
